i want to buy a car but i won't be able to pay the monthly payment next year because i'll be going to school as a full time student. i have money right now but its only less than 5 thousand $. i have an old '91 camry and i want to sell that and add the money to my savings. i want to buy a car where i can pay it off so i only have to worry about the insurance. is it realy reasonable to buy an auctioned car. can you suggest where can i buy a cheap but reliable car? i really need your help. thanx.

I have a No.2 Pencil mark on the cloth arm rest in the backseat of my car and i'm just asking how to get these marks off. Do you just use a damp cloth and wipe it off? thanks

I got the DTC codes that are 38 and 41... I know 41 is for Camshaft sensor or Camshaft Ciruit is faulty.. And I don't Know what 38 is and the two possibility answers are.. Brake Switch Low or Twighlight Sensor Low. Which one is it. I know the Brake lights work just fine. But the twilight seems to be working but the headlights did come on while it was still daylight outside. Where do I start with this... And Does the DTC 38 Turn on the CEL?

My boyfriend bought a truck for 15,309.90$ before finance charges. He just found out that they gave him a 17.95% interest rate and somehow came out to over 26,000 dollars. I was wondering how the heck it came out to be almost twice the amount of the truck. If this is right, could you please show me the math?

I put $500 down to hold a car at a dealership. However, I decided not to buy the car anymore and the dealership refunded my money back, which they put it back on my card. However, when I looked at my statements online, I dont see that money being refunded at all. It has been 3 days, what is going on here? Did it not get refunded or what? My 2001 S10 Blazer while when idleing is causing my car to run rough, like it is ideling low and ready to stall out, also jumping. The service engine light is flashing which according to my manual means "MISFIRE". My mechanic has changed out plugs and wires, then tried changing out the ignition coil, changed out a censor and still running awful. It acts like it doesnt want to get gas through it when I try to take off, then its like the gas kicks in and goes , runs great at higher speed, only acts up when I stop for lights or starting the car while still in park. Before my mechanic keeps up his trial and error at my expense, does anyone know what is going on?

I'm looking into selling my cr250 for a street bike something along the lines of a 1998-2001 cbr/gsxr 600. My only problem as I'm sure you can all relate is insurance. I simply cannot afford to be paying 3-4000 dollars upfront. So does anyone know of a insurance company that will do business on a month to month bases insted of anually.

however the left CV joint is going bad and it needs to be replaced, as well as the windshield has been cracked, and a few little details about the interior im not too worried about.

my daughter has a 1997 jetta with approx. 75000 miles with a manual transmission. the car will not start. when the key is turned there is nothing. no clicking, cranking or anything. she has a new battery, new starter and colenoid,new starter cables, new neutral safety switch. the transmission was replaced about 2 years ago. what could be the problem?

fluid stays full, no leaks as for as i can tell, was able to pump them up for a while but not now, had pads put on a while back, was told it had something to do with anti-lock brackes but hope, that sounds like it would cost more than car is worth. its a 1992 98 olds. thanks for everyones help

The Check Transmission Indicator comes on and the O/D OFF light flashes after about 5 miles at highway speed. The Over Drive is still working and the transmission seems to be shifting fine. Fluid level is OK. I shut off the engine for 5 seconds and when I turn it back on, the indicator light is off. Any ideas?

Hows the reliability of the CVT Tranny used in the Ford Freestyle, and Five Hundred? I'm in the used car business and I'm not familiar with this tranny.

I'm really tempted to get an 05 Freestyle 2WD with 80k. It uses a CVT. I've looked over online, finding that this tranny is reliable. Anyone know for sure?

How about for service? I believe these don't use tranny dipsticks to check the fluid ( A growing trend among Auto makers lately) . Or does it require the dealer?

i mean seriously i never put air in my old car since i got it, and i had it for a year. never checked the pressure and stuff.

so do i go to the gas station and fill it up? So i think i unscrew that little thingy, some how fit the air giving machine into the hole. and maybe press a button or something. i've never seen the air giving machine before.

but the question is. how do i know when i stop? how do i know when it's full. how do i know if i'm not going over... when i fill up helium ballons i just wait till it stops by itself, when it's all full to the max.

can i do that with tires? teach me please. daddy taught me to hunt, make love, but he wasn't around to teach me about cars.
