I own a shop, and the best way to check the pump is; find the power wire for the pump at the tank, and hook 12 volt power supply to it. If it don't run, its bad! There should also be a test wire for the pump somewhere around, or behind the brake booster. If you sprayed carb cleaner into the throttle body, and it wouldn't fire, then you got other problems. Look at the ignition control module as the culprit. Check the fire at the spark plugs, I'll bet you don't have any. If you sprayed carb cleaner into the throttle body, and it wouldn't fire then, you have an ignition fault, or bad computer. Check the ECM fuse/fuses to see if they are good. Check power to the ignition system, and power to the ECM. Before you do anything; clean the battery cables, and make sure you are getting a good ground to the engine, and the grounding straps are getting a good ground. Check the one at the battery that goes to the body/frame, and the strap that runs from the engine to the firewall.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

You have to determine which by checking for fuel pressure at the port just behind the upper intake plenum. You need around 55 psi to get the injectors to work. If you have none, you will have to check if there is power and ground to the fuel pump. If there is and the pump is not running, the pump or sender have had it and you need to drop the tank. If you have the pump running, plug the return line and re-check, If the pressure comes up the injector is leaking and needs to be replaced. Good luck.

If you hear a buzzing sound when you start it up or when you just turn the key over before starting then its out.. If you have no power and it sounds like crap then it's going out.. there are many different things it could be too. I could very easily be the fuel filter which is a pretty easy change or it could be plugs/wires. Hope this helps

there's no way for us to know this ,you didn't say if it was getting gas or not, this has to be checked before you rule the pump being bad,it could also be a pump relay going bad on it ,good luck with it.

It sounds like u have a wiring problem. Check the wiring that goes to the sending unit, it could be loose.

You gotta put a pressure gauge on the rail to see if it's getting the proper at least 50 psi. when you turn on key.
