Not sure if a '92 has ABS(anti-lock-brakes),but they usually leave you with a low pedal. Sounds like a bad master cylinder, common when brake pads are pushed back without opening the caliper bleeder. Pushes the old, dirty brake fluid backward through the master cylinder.Replace master cylinder, use NEW,CLEAN.FLUID, and bleed cylinder AND system. Good luck.

The brake pedal should never go all the way to the floor.
If the fluid is staying full you need to bleed the brakes. Jack up the car take the wheels off and unscrew the bleeder valve, get in the car and pump the brakes until fluid starts coming out of the bleeder valve... make sure the master cylinder doesn't get empty... if it does you will have to start all over again.

You either have air in the system somewhere or your master cylinder has torn or destroyed o-rings. You can rebuild a master cylinder but if you aren't he mechanical type just get another one. The fact that you have ABS, to bleed the brakes will require pressure bleeding. This will have to be done at a shop with special equipment.

Not too expensive just a master cylinder, I do them for around 175 to 250 depending on how difficult it is to bleed the brakes

get someone to help you bleed them and if that dont fix it then get a new master. easy fix just be sure you bleed enough like a half a bottle or more but sounds like you should just get a new master and be done with it... should not be air in lines unless you open them or ran it dry

it sounds more like you have a bubble in the break lines... just take it back to the shop that fixed your breaks and ask them to "bleed" the lines. that should do the trick.
