I have a 12 year old explorer XL. I've done everything I can to keep it looking brand new, and it does accept for a few plastic parts who's paint is wearing off and fading. Is there any way to re-chrome the plastic trim around the grill and headlights? Is it just a matter of taking them off, sanding/steelwooling then repainting them?

Also is there anything I can do to revitalize the exterior faded black parts between the side windows and around the back corners? A chemical that I can wipe on, or a way to remove them so I can repaint them? I foolishly tried ArmorAll on them and it just makes a mess.

I'm paying the same amount as my car is worth to insure it. I''m old enough to not be a boy racer in a baceball cap and young enough to not be "an old duffer in a flat cap".

I have a 1998 escort ZX2. I have replaced the belt and tensioner and the belt still comes off. It may go a couple of days or a couple of weeks before it comes off again. Usually happens while I am at a stop and engine is at idle.

I have a 1988 CBR 1000 that is overheating. I want to check the coolant level but can't find the radiator cap or overflow reservoir.

This stuff is easy on a car - it's all in plain view. I'm sure I can find it if I take off all the panels and start digging around but I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me precisely where to look.

Thanks!

What do you think will happen to the driver of a semi-truck in the following accident: Driving down a two lane highway a small car crosses over the center line and hits a large semi truck head on. Both vechiles are traveling at 55 mph. The impact zone is only about 3 feet. (meaning the vehicles clip each other, and the impact zone on the left side of each vechile is about 3 feet).

Do you think the Semi truck driver would be hurt in an accident of this magnitude?

I am currently an aeronautical engineering student with plans to be a licensed engineer at the same time a pilot. In airline industries, to occupy higher positions you would surely need more qualifications. What kind of master's degree would be applicable in relation to my degree? Management?
