I am currently an aeronautical engineering student with plans to be a licensed engineer at the same time a pilot. In airline industries, to occupy higher positions you would surely need more qualifications. What kind of master's degree would be applicable in relation to my degree? Management?

You could pursue just about any of the masters of aviation that are out there. I personaly would like to get a masters in aviation safety. With this degree you could get a position with the airlines in their safety department.

I would probably recommend a Masters in Engineering (Meng) but then i'm biased as i've just graduated with an Meng (hons) in Aerospace Engineering. For reference i am training to become a pilot too. Also a masters in engineering means that you will be accedited to the RAES in the UK (Royal Aeronautical Society). Not sure for outside the UK though.

Maybe an MBA from a top rated school so you could be into top level management of a large airport or factory manufacturing large aircraft. Good luck.
