I am looking to buy a radar detector, around $500-$600. And it has 360 degree search and search all police cars with good range. My friend has Escort Passport 8500 but I have seen it some time don't detect cops. Does anyone know the best police detector outhere?

AC Compressor kicks on, pressure gauge drops very low compressor kicks off, pressure rapidly rises (which should be normal when AC is off).? I'm thinking it just needs some 134A added - any other ideas?

My car one morning would not start battery went dead over night. So i jump started her expecting it to re gain charge on the drive to work. It did'nt.

So i keep having to just start her and when driving for about 10 mins it dies on me. The rev counter stops working and the lights die out. Is this the battary or the alternator?

I've got friends looking at a ~70 foot ocean-going yacht. They would like to berth it someplace like Mertyl Beach. Anyone have any idea on the dock charges for something like that per month? And what about insurance? Any ideas?

I have an '07 Wrangler 2 door and I would like to know what it would take to put 33's under it. How much of a lift would it require? I am also going from 16's to 17's. I am looking at some 17x9 wheels. I do not plan to go rock crawling, this is my everyday driver so I still need it to perform reasonably well on the highway. I am thinking about a 4" lift. How much will that lift and those tires affect my Jeeps ON-ROAD performance?

My exhaust was sounding rather funny, so i took it into a garage, they then told me they had to replace the exausht and a catalytic tube. They said this would cost me £250.
I called them this morning to arrange when to collect my car and they said they had to replace the 'back box' and that i would now have to pay £309.
Is this legal to alter my car without consent???

VW dealer recommended it as standard maintenance, but wanted a lot $$$ to do it. I have no problems with brakes, so is it really important? I'm thinkng I'll just wait until the brakes need replacing and that'll take care of it. BTW, the car is 3 years old.

Can you get cruise control on a vehicle with standard transmission? If yes, is there a resume button to resume the set speed after the brake has been applied? And do you have to shift gears during resuming? Thanks

I have a 1990 Pontiac Firebird V.6 3.1L it has 113,000 miles on it . It runs good and strong never could tell it was that old. I just got it on Saturday 7/ 7/ 7 how lucky is that an old lady owned it before me. It has stickers on it and passed inspections. I just wanted to know where could i take it to tune it up good and not a cheap job.

I got a corolla and now don't have any way to contact the dealership that sold it to me.?
I got a carolla and now dont have any way to contact the dealership that sold it to me. And I still have more payments to make the saleman said he does work there anymore and the owner mover to las vegas. And he doent know how to contact him ether. What should i do. I did not get it from a toyota dealership. It was a small one and its not listed.
