Do you mean, "When you turn on the air conditioning unit, the air it blows out smells like sewage"?

If that's so, I'd suspect that there is stagnant water somewhere inside the unit. An AC unit cools the air by blowing it over cold coils. This causes the water vapor in the air to condense on the coils. It's supposed to drain away, but it sounds like it's not doing that in your case. I don't know how or where it's supposed to drain, though - you'll need to figure that out, or pay someone to do it.

Check that the air intakes do not have any foreign objects which have got caught up. Whilst travelling in Wales over farm tracks, the fine dust from all the sheep droppings got into the ar intake, leaving a smelly dusty film. I also had to change the cabin filter.
