What part of "as-is" do you not understand? Didn't you drive this thing before you paid and signed for it?
It's yours now, man.

You just needed a car to drive from the beach. Got to watch those bulky drivers doors. Didn't you even get it checked out? drive it around? Used car lots differ on return policy. You might have to drive another car off that lot. Hope it all works out. My legs cramp after one hour too? Does that mean I am going to return my 2006 GTO? think not! just get out move around a little & get back in

I think your stuck with it. They will say that you probably should have checked out those things before buying it. You might get lucky and they might be willing to exchange it for another car on there lot if you bought it from a car lot. The only way you might be able to get out of it is if the stated the air worked and that the auto door locks worked. Good luck!

So is this a test drive for you?
Why are you finding all these problems days after owning the car?
If you have already signed the contract : By law the dealer can say go away, if your nice, and buy from them again: trade that 1 in for another they might consider the swap. But I dont think he will buy it back in full.

I would think that even when you buy a car "as is" there would be some requirement to disclose the the defects in the vehicle. Contact your State Attorney General's office or look on their web site to see what laws pertain to this.
I do have a question though. Didn't you test drive this before hand and check these things out?

You should have checked these items out when you test drove the car. A used vehicle is always sold as is, unless the seller witheld info regarding a salvage/rebuilt brand, you have no rights to returning the car.

Probably not. You bought a used car and you should have done your due diligence and made sure you knew what condition it was in. Didn't you sit in it before you bought it? Did you even drive it?
And FYI, lemon laws only apply to new vehicles, anybody telling you different is high.

Under Texas law, unless the seller fraudulently represented the vehicle as being something it is not, then "AS IS" means "AS IS" and the car is yours.

In WV you can return a new car within 3 days. I am not sure if that is a nationwide law. It may be according to whether you financed it. Our bank will allow us to change our mind within a certain amount of time as well.
Good Luck

No way! And they won't fix the problems because it's an as-is deal.
