Sell off what parts you can, then take the remaining hulk to the crusher. If that's too much work, call a salvage yard that tows junkers, they'll give you (usually) $20-50 for it. Depending on your local laws, you may or may not need a title or pink slip to junk it.

I don't know bout L.A. but here you can call some junk
yards and they will come and pick it up and pay on the spot , depending on the condition .

Depending upon the type of car it is, you may be able to "part it out" by dismantling it and selling the parts seperately on eBay and other online auction or classified sites like Craigslist.com.

Take it to a steel recycling center they pay by the ton.
Last I seen it was around 130.00 per ton.
I believe they have them around in LA
Long Beach is full of scrap cars.

drain all the fluids and take it to a scrapyard they will pay yuo for it. also, you could donate it and get a tax write off.
