Just bought a 1980 Shovelhead Harley Engine with a 4 speed transmission. What will the gear pattern be for it?

I am not sure if it will be like Evo's 1 down the rest up or if it will be all up.

"mycoldfeet" is right on. But, if you really want, it is possible to reverse it so it's one up & three down... helpful if you like to slam through the gears.

Enjoy the ride... there just isn't anything that compares to a Shovel in my opinion!
