i have a 85 kawasaki gpz 550. on the petcock under the fuel tank, there are two fittings, one is for the fuel supply. what is the other one for? could it be for a fuel overflow return, or a vacuum line. it's not hooked up to anything. should it be?

Does anyone know the signs of a Catalytic converter going bad? I have a 98 Ford Explorer it rattles when excellerating and a little at idel until it warms up and then the performance goes down hill drastically.

Is there anyway of checking Catalytic converters?

It keeps triping the braker....as I turn it on it starts to work then it trips... and elect. friend said that the (capacitor is effected) or burnt up is this right ? the motor turns freely, I can turn it by hand..Im a auto mech...I just dont know how to check and see which parts are affected..the motor is a v115/230 rpm 3450 if this helps

I have built and restored many bikes but am looking to build myself a Mini Cooper pre 1985 and fit a rotary RX7 or RX8.
If anyone knows wherther this would be posible with the engen space and would i have to change gearbox and suspention?
We built a V8 Trike for my friend which we used a Jaguar suspension at the back.

Basically, any input would be apreciated as i am still doing research. Many thanks

I have a 97 dodge intrepid since the moment i bought the car it has been costing me money and I dont mean for gas! When I turn the key it goes through the motion of wanting to start but just cant bring itself to turnover on the first try why? Also I have replaced the starter two times and have had it for 5 months? the car is in excellent shape low milage and I dont want to get rid of it! Some please help !! Thank you!!

i am no the insured on the car i live in mass, my dad owns it ,,,i was at market masket shopping and when i left to drive aay i forgot there was a cement median divider in front o me couldtnt see it from the inside of the car it was about1 foot tall however i went striahgt hit it and turned a inch right and destroyed my rocker panel on the drivers side and in turn it smashed in the bottom of the car door cant open it at all i have full coverage on my auto insurance will they pay for it,,i will have to pay the 500$deductable....
