Rotax engines originated in Austria in the 1920's. They now belong to Bombardier Recreational Products who produce Sea Doo, Ski Doo, Can Am, and I believe Johnson and Evinrude outboards. Rotax produces engines for all these machines and sells to other manufacturers as well. They also build light aircraft engines.
