if you run the defroster it runs the ac compressor to dry the air. it will make the same puddle as running ac. you shouldn't have a problem. good luck

i don't see how it could be from the ac, that only happens to me or anyone i know if the ac is on, i think its the condensation building up from the cold since the ac doesn't have water in it. do you use antifreeze in your car or do you just put water in it? it could be that but if there was any antifreeze it would definatly have an odor to it. maybe you have water buildup from rain or puddles, water gets inside my car and when i open the doors it runs out (it stays right under the door) hope i could help some

Most modern cars turn on the ac compressor on defrost and water is produced. Some customers want there a/c compressors to turn off after turning on defrost some cars won't until they cycle the key and manually turn off the heater controls. Engineers way of making people use the A/C to circulate oil and freon.

YES, WATER CAN BE RETAINED FOR SEVERAL DAYS AFTER USING THE A/C SYSTEM, IF ALL OF THE REST OF THE FLUIDS ARE OKAY THEN THIS IS JUST RESIDUE LEFT OVER.
