If someone says the car doesn't have power steering does that just mean it's broken or does that it never came with it at all.

I never said I didn't want power steerting. I only asked if any cars didn't come with it. Read the question at face value, don't read anything into it.

Unless they're a shyster used car slickster, it means it comes equipped with non-power steering. Straight sticks -- or no automatic transmission, standard transmission cars -- often have no power assisted steering.

i have an 82 and it has power steering unless its a smaller older car like a compact it should have power steering if i was you i would look under the hood if it has power steering there will be a power steering pump in the front by the belts and it would have a belt running to it it will also have a cap where you fill it with steering fluid. if you test drive it and its really hard to steer then probably it was supposed to have power steering

Yes either it is broken or it is a geo metro that did not have power steering. Nissan Sentra and Versa have ESP electronic power steering AND some honda models use electronic power steering.

You can still order this at most American Dealers, but it will cost you more than buying it stock now a days. Do you prefer Am radio too?
