Trying to figure out what kind of good used family car I should buy.

is there a place where I can learn about the treads of the tires and the uses....for example, which treadsare ideal for rain....which are good for all conditions .....and which are good for snow.

I want to learn about the tires and which would be ideal to purchase.....like if I was to by the tires from the website or the catalog, which would be the best choice for me and what I would use my car for.

if you can give me an internet swite that i can visit, it would e greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

Just had a question about the AC in my 94 Prizm. The AC blows cool when its not too hot out, but once it gets above 80 and humid, the AC just blows luke-warm air.

I think I just need more refigerant and I believe its the old freon. What kind of repair should I get and how much do you think it'll cost?

When the car doesn't start, there is no crank. You turn the key, lights come on, the fuel pump engages, but no crank at all. Worse, the car runs great!!! And, when it doesn't start, it will eventually start....anywhere from 3 minutes to 3 hours later.

Firstly, sorry for my English. I'm a Malaysian and just 15 years old.....

What will happen if i supply a lots of negative ion by putting an ionizer to air intake of a car?

If i'm right, ignition coil will generate positive ion at spark plug then the positive ion hit the spark plug ground to produce spark. (correct me if i am wrong).

If i supply negative ion to the combustion chamber, will it help spark plug to spark better?

Any help will be appreciated...........

For the 2007 2.5S with automatic transmission, the EPA fuel estimate is 26/34. However, the altima coupe with xtronic cvt fuel estimate is 23/31. The engine is the same and the coupe is smaller and lighter. And at the dealerships, they have the fuel estimate at 21/26. Whats going on?

My car is a manual 2002 VW New Beetle. None of the indicator lights have came on, but when I went to drive it yesterday, it wouldn't crank. I charged the battery over-night and it started just fine, and once again, none of the indicator lights came on. So I tried to drive it and made it a few miles before the ABS light, and my seat best light came on. My seat belt was buckled so I knew something was wrong. Then my radio shut off and my car died. What is wrong with my car?

I have a spark plug that broke off in the manifold. Only the threads remain. I plan to drill out the old plug and re-tap the head for a larger plug. what size bit and tap should I use on a 87 kawasaki 600r? Remember this is a metric.

we're told time and time again by the nanny state what is good for us and they always find a way to tax it. why has it not been made law for cyclelist to wear helmets even if it is for kids under a certain age.surely this would save live's .or is it because there's no money to be made from such a law?
