I assume you mean a working engine.
Be aware that anything you get at a wreckers yard is a gamble.
It has definitly been mistreated.
Maybe it's still good, maybe not.
Unless you're a pro, capable of evaluating or rebuilding what you are getting, your best bet is a professional rebuild.

Salvage yard,automotive parts store or dealership or everybody seems to like Ebay although I,ve never been to the site myself.
