My yamaha dirtbike will turn over when kick starting, but seems like it has no compression. Motor has been rebuilt not to long ago by dealer(3months ago). It ran fine until i turn it off because i heard something knocking. Try'd to turn it back on and never did start. I parked it on my driveway and there was anti-freeze on the ground coming out of my bike??? Think it might be the rings,bottom/top end, water pump maybe out which cause the motor to mess up????--- and yes it had gas in it (Mixed 32:1) checked the spark plug!!!!(new one). I'am about it tare it apart but needs to know if anybody knows what it might be.
P.S I don't race it- its just a weekend toy to ride when i'am not working.

Around $4,000

Something not as common as a civic. (I don't want to drive something that I'm gonna a million of everywhere I go.)

Preferrably RWD but doesn't have to be.

4-6 cyllinder. No v8's. I want decent gas mileage.

When try to take off fast off the line my tires spin and my opponent just takes off fast! Of course by the time I finally get going I can useally catch up, but I want to have cleaner starts.

Is it just a matter of NOT smashing the gas down so hard and getting up to speed gradually?

Or is there a part I can buy that will help me get better traction??

Details... I drive a 2003 Mustang GT with an automatic trans, I have brand new racing tires that are top of the line....Goodyear something they cost $1200 for 4 tires. Alos I got the wider tires so more tire is on the pavement.

How are cars that have more horsepower taking off fast without spinning the tires and I cant???

I have a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L Limited. It has the fender mounted turn signals. The ones right in front of the front doors. The people I have talked to so far have only been able to come up with that this is an Austrailan/European package. Now my problem is I cannot for the life of me get the bulbs to replace these. I have talked to several people and parts stores only to find out there unavailable or whatever. Someone out there has got to know the part number as it is not on the bulb. The only numbers on the bulb are 12v23a which after 20 years in the industry I completely know what that means and it doesnt help at all. Thanks in advance..........Chris

I got all brand new tires. The max PSI writtin on the tire is 51. I put them to between 49 and 50. About a month later maby less, they all dropped down exactly 10 psi. Why? Im from south louisiana and its hot and humid...

If it meant we would not dependent on some countries in the world that are not very friendly to the U.S. How about doing a little more walking? Its free and its great for the health. Would eliminate alot of the obesity in our country.

It rained real bad here a few days ago and I ended up driving through high standing water. The next day, my truck started squeaking when I sat in it, turned the wheel, or hit a speed bump. What is going on? Any advice would be great. It is a 1996 Ford Explorer.

I am going to be buying an older mustang soon. I would like to put the biggest engine I can into it. A friend of mine said the '67 fastback was the best choice. I dont know a lot about older mustangs yet. Im trying to find out the differences in the fastbacks from '67 to '69.

my 1995 325 i has a weird problem after the car sits for a while i put the car in drive to go and for the first minute or so you cant give the car, you give it gas and it dont throttle up. it has no power then all of a sudden it drives like normal the rest of the time till i turn the car off and start again.any help would be great.the asc+t light is on also.thank you,jeremy

I want to hear from those that know about cars and especially, this car. I am considering buying a 2000 Lexus RX300 with 89k miles in it. Dealer will drop the price from $18k to $14k after I chiseled them down aggressively. The car looks impeccable inside and out...But most importantly, is it a good car and how about the mileage? I mean like slower than 20mph coz my instructor always makes me slow down but its so slow. I don't see anyone else going THAT slow. Why can't you just go 20?

AND another thing. I've forgotten a lot and i mean A LOT from my theory test, AND some things i don't think i ever knew. will that be a HUGE problem for me?

And coz of this I have no clue about some signs, like at a stop sign do you have to stop if there's nothing around, and for how long?

We've found what we think is an awesome 87 Bayliner Ciera. Pristine condition, less than 500 hours, hi-dry kept for 17 years, all records. My husband is concerned b/c he's heard negative things about Bayliners and he's heard negative things about OMC outdrives (they're not made anymore, parts are hard to find and mechanics don't usually work on them).

We've also found a 1984 25' Formula Cabin Cruiser. This one was owned by a marine mechanic (we checked it out- it's true). He says he rebuilt the Chevy 350 3 or 4 years ago and has also rebuilt most of the Mercruiser outdrive. The boat started right up and seemed to run pretty solid. The cabin was not as polished as the Bayliner but would tidy up nicely w/ some work.

If you own or have owned either of these boats, or have experience as a mechanic or something, please weigh in here. Thanks much.

ok, the current owner(old man) got the bike from some guy who owed him money and then he died before he did any of the title work. well the bike has been sitting, because the old man who owns it has no idea how to work on it. he told me about the title situation, and said that i could go to the DMV and ask for a bond, and it would cost around 120 bucks, and i'd have to wait a month to see if anyone would go up and claim it, but the man died, so i wouldn't have to worry about that, and i would get the title in my name. is he telling me the truth, i live in North Carolina.

I have a 2007 Ford F150 Special Edition Truck that my husband got for me before he left to Iraq. Right now I am having a problem...I need to know what is the name of the sticker that my truck has you know that one that the dealership applies to make vehicles look more stylist. Someone tried to remove mine and now it looks awful. I am scared that my husband may get after me so I am going to go to the dealership to have a new one applied. Please help and it's not the Molding Mountain Tape that I am looking for it's the other one the thiner tape. I am desprate. I already surferd the web but i have had not luck since I don't even know the name of the tape. Please tell me that you can help and that you know what I am talking about. God Bless
