Installing trailer light hookup on truck?

I am installing a 4 wire flat trailer hookup to my '96 Dodge Ram Pickup. Where do I splice the wires in?

don't cut any wires. they make a direct plug in trailer harness kit you can get at orileys or your local parts supplier

Normally in the tail lights using a side splice without cutting a wire.
