As was suggested, make the car less attractive a target:
o Don't leave anything out in sight, even trash: you may know the object is worthless, but a potential thief does not.
o If you have an after-market sound system with removable fascia or lock widget, take it.
o An after-market alarm costs as little as $30, and may be of some help, though in high-crime areas, alarms are ignored.
o Park where the car is visible to passers-by or, better, by someone who you know.
o For your next car, take theft-rating into account (see URL)

Well, the easy solution is to not leave anything valuable in plain sight in your car.... The other well, leave the doors unlocked and there is less likely to be less damage to your car then if the thieves have to break a window.... I know this doesn't seem to make sense, but I 've had a few cars broken into and stolen... So, I just leave the doors unlocked, so minimize vehicle damage and I don't leave anything in my car. If you are worried about it getting stolen you can get a deterent like the "Club", which will help or a "brake" jack to make the car unable to drive. Or an alarm system that makes the car appear dead.... Unhook the battery.... Things like that... However, if someone wants what you have the best thing is to have good insurance with a resonable deductable... I'm sorry and good luck

get some type of lock for your steering wheel. ive seen them in other cars, they're like bars that prevent anyone from being able to move the steering wheel. also, that other one was good. lock your doors. you could also park close to where you work where somebody could watch over your car if thats possible..if not, dont park in a space that feels uneasy or unsafe to you. chances are they can more easily break in if its in an odd place. there might be alarm systems that you can look into. not so sure about this one, but you could try going into a place likely to sell those things. one more thing. keep all your windows shut. an open window is easy robbery.

buy a big thick chain and padlock and put the chain through the steering wheel and down threw the handle on the chair that makes the chair move back and forward, make sure its tight and then lock it, that will stop people from driving away with your car but people can still break in to steal your stuff so to stop this either lock everything in your boot (trunk) before leaving for work so that no one sees you doing it and leave your glove compartment open so people wont break in to see whats in there or you could just carry all your stuff on you but then if you get mugged your fcuked!!

Dont leave any valuables in sight. i had the same problem, but they actually broke the window, so it cost me a couple of hundread dollars, and they got i think 5 cents out of the centre console. The sad thing is, it was probably kids. Makes you wonder were the parents are !!
If you dont have tinted windows i reccomend in getting them, its harder for them to see inside.
But the bottom line is, if they wanna get in they will and sometimes they'll get in for the smallist things
Good Luck
