With an 8 inch lift, the center of gravity is higher, and the vehicle is much more unstable on turns!

In some states that lift is not legal!

I agree. If they rhino lined the tub and did an 8 inch lift, it was definetly a trail Jeep. Odds are it was used as God intended and you could find yourself with a lot of underbody damage. If you're wanting a project Jeep then it may be worth it, otherwise I'd pass.

why would you want 8 inches of lift the jeep is practically begging to be put on it's side. and usually, used lifted 4x4's been used and abused, why don your think the person is selling it? they've had there fun with it and don't want to deal with problems in the future

anything over a 4 inch lift is asking for trouble.
