its ok. a normal engine can run on gas/oil mix, it just may smoke a little bit. it won't hurt your engine, just make sure you fill the rest of it up with regular gas. the only difference in the gas is the oil.
if she had put regular gas in something that needed a mix, then it wouldn't get any oil and would blow the engine up.

won't hurt a thing just drive to the gas station add more fuel on top of the gas oil mixture. Next time don't run out. Hide a 20 dollar bill in the car to put gas into the car in emergencys. Running the car low on fuel might cost you much more sucking the sediment into the fuel system and clogging up fuel filters.

A quart? That's not likely to do much damage; you've got a trivial amount of oil in the gasoline but nothing else (unless that gas had been sitting on the shelf for years). I've driven enough cars that burned oil as it is to know that won't kill an engine.

If you fill your gas tank with the gas you normally use, all that oil in the mix will be so diluted that you probably won't suffer any ill effects at all. You may need to have the spark plugs changed, but that may not even be an issue. The amount of oil in a quart of that mix doesn't amount to much. It wouldn't be much different than putting a quart of diesel fuel in your gas. I wouldn't freak.

nothing to worry about. Just go and fill the tank with regular fresh fuel. The car may smoke a while , then will clear up.

IF A SMALL AMOUNT WAS PUT INTO THE TANK THEN I WOULD FILL IT UP REGULARLY BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE A 20 GALLON GAS TANK AND YOU PUT A QUART AS STATED YOU WONT DO ANY DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR, THE GASOLINE WILL DILUTE THAT SMALL AMOUNT.
I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT START THE VEHICLE UNTIL YOU HAVE FILLED IT UP.

That relies upon on what you put in. in case you place Diesel in a non-diesel automobile then you've a intense subject. you are able to desire to get your tank drained and top off it with the awesome gasoline. (Or vise versa) in case you place low octane gasoline in a intense octane engine it is going to likely be ok as long as you do no longer make a habit of doing it. you are able to desire to word some hesitation and overall performance issues yet no longer something worse then that.

its OK. it wont hurt the engine. it may just smoke a little bit. and if the tank was almost empty, when you put more gas in ,it will dilute it out so much that it may not even smoke.
