Why do so many car manufacturers advertise their cars as "fun to drive"? (Google it.) Driving is supposed to be a serious procedure, not to be taken lightly. Fun implies enjoyable, amusing, playful or joking, none of which has any place on our highways.

i have a 2001 dodge ram v8. heres the problem. i have owned this truck almost a year now. the first couple of times i cahnged the oil no prob but today and the last time this happens. when i loosen then finally remove the filter not much comes out. maybe a little more than a glass full. then when i check the stick it says there is more than enough. i added a few quarts anyway and now its way up on the stick. WHAT THE HECK? i drove the truck 7 miles then let it run a bit before opening the filter. 4 days ago the stick said to add so i put in a quart. just a quart. this is irritating. is there something i should be doing? is there another way to force the oil out? or is it no worry?

We don't know that much about it, But we were wondering cause we're considering buying an S.U.B..And while we're at it- for a bonus (HA!) - What percentage (ball park) does an automatic use more fuel than a stick shift. Shead some light, you're our friend!

I'm debating with my parents on which to buy for my 1st car...its down to either a 78 VW bus or 87 camero...both are in great condition and run great, botha re for sale for about the same amount, and the camero has a V8...the only problem is which would be easier to get parts for should i need them? also, i might want to customize the car, am i right in assuming that the VW would be easier to do that? thanks

Ok, here we go...
I have a 97 Ford Ranger- 2.3l 4cylinder (the one with 8 plugs).
A while back I did a tune up on it and crossed two of the wires. So it drove like crap for awhile, ripped up a flywheel and a couple starters before I realized that I crossed the wires. Now they have been switched to their correct firing order, but today I got in it to start it up and the starter made a "tick" noise then would not turn the engine. I gave it a push start, and it starts fine now. I'm worried that it is still eating starters up for some other reason than the crossed plug wires. What could be causing it? **Keep in mind the firing order is correct now, new plugs, and wires too**

Also I bought a starter with a limited lifetime warranty. If I bring it in and they bench test it and get it to turn will they not replace it anyway.

His car was totalled, he was severely injured and the other driver was arrested because she was a drunk driver. He had no insurance on his vehicle yet.

Is this legal or illegal in College Station, Texas? I live in a residential neighborhood and usually when my neighbors have company they park in front of our house. Well a couple of time someones tail has been slightly blocking our driveway making it hard for my husband to back out in the morning (because alot of people park on the side of the road on our street). If he ever hit the person would he be at fault?

My major problem is getting in and around the gear shift, emergency brake, console and between the front seats and the console. There's everything from dried dust, diet coke to fast food crumbs! lol I've tried toothpicks, pressured air and of course vacuuming. None works. The vacuum isn't small enough to get between the seats and the console. I don't have a couple a hundred laying around to have someone to do it!

Any advice would be great!

The plastic end cap on my 2001 S10 Zr2 has cracked right below the upper hose, causing a small leak. Someone told me a 2 part epoxy would be an ideal repair short of replacing the radiator, will this work? and if not, any other suggestions would be welcome
