I own a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, cause I thought a new car would save me headaches on repair bills, not so much, had a bad clutch with only 1200 miles on it. Usually costs about $30-35 to fill it now. Currently has 12,000 miles on it.

I also own a 1996 Jeep Grand Chrokee, has 190,000 miles on it, has the 4.0L inline 6 engine gets great gas mileage, and costs about $55 to fill it.

My Work truck is a 1999 Ford Ranger with 256,000 miles on it and it still averages 23MPG, and costs about the same as the Jeep to fill up.

I've got almost all these criteria (including a hybrid SUV) and all my cars get practically the same mileage. All between 40-50 dollars a fill up with premium except Lexus gets regular.

2007 Mercedes E350 4matic gets 20mpg
1983 Porsche 911 also gets 20
2006 Lexus 400h 21mpg
1994 Mercedes E320 22mpg
