also, what is the base model? 2.3L? my girlfriend wants a mustang but not interested in a lot of power...all about the look...so i was going to buy one, add a cowl hood, put some chrome cobra r rims on it, and if there is just one muffler, i will get it so it has too tailpipes....looking like it is fast, but really isnt

I recently replaced one of my injectors. I was told on this site that there was a recall and the old injector O rings were yellow. Mine still had the yellow O rings in it. I brought it to a dealer and he told me that the injector recall had allready been done by another dealer. I do not think it was done or that dealer said he did the work but did not actually do it. Does anyone know what if anything I can do about this? I do not want my car catching fire especially with my sons in it!!!!!! I got the print out from my local dealer stating the work was done and by whom and when it was done. Dan

A FRIEND OF MINE GAVE ME A 1968 CAMARO, BUT IT USE TO BE A 6 CILINDER IT HAS NO MOTOR NO MORE.
THE TOP IS RUSTED. IS IT WORH FIXING IT UP?
WHAT CAN I DO TO IT? I WAS THINKING OF FIXING IT UP ALL THE WAY AROUND AND PUTTING A BIG ENGINE, BUT IM NOT SURE IF ITS WORTH IT? IT HAS A 10 BOLT REAR END. HELP PLEASE!

OMG today, it was hailing out, so i was in the car waiting for my bus. i get out and im at the edge of the road and she just passes by. She doesnt even slow down or look to see if im there. This is the second time this has happened to me.

Hi I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima with 2 12 inch Kicker L7s 4 ohms in a regular sealed box hooked up with a Hifonics bxi1606d at 1 ohm also I have a 1.0 fared capacitor hooked up with it I don’t have any other equipment upgrades like bigger alternator or a extra battery but my question is that I just hooked up every thing together and it sounds like im not even pushing 1600 watts RMS that’s what the amp I have says that it pushes 1600 watts RMS at 1 ohm why is that? Do I need a bigger box cause I have a small one or do I need a ported or vented box or what do I have to do to make it sound louder???

:I've got a 1992 GMC 1500 2WD with a V6 4.3L in it that just doesn't stir the koolaid, if you know what I mean. I'd like something that makes my truck fun to drive. I'm going to guess that my little V6 puts out about 150HP and about the same in TQ, and by no means does that pin me to the seat. I went down to the GMC dealership today and asked about engine swaps...they told me it was going to be about $11k to buy/install the engine, and the engine we were talking about was definitely no monster, either. Every shop I've called where I live doesn't do engine swaps. Anybody ever replaced a V6 with a nice V8 in the kind of truck I have? I've also been curious about emissions laws...I've heard that the MVD doesn't care what engine is in the vehicle, it has to pass emissions based on what was originally in the truck. What about that? I'm willing to replace the transmission and need to replace the rear end, if that helps at all.
