In the last 8 months, I had to replace brake pads, replace the battery, and replace the engine. All of these happened with no warning. No light to warn me. Just happened.

i own a shop, and some of this is normal wear and tear like the battery and brakes, the rest of it is doubtful, anyone could have messed with it but as far as the engine goes it could have just been something in it that made it go bad, there's no real way of knowing any of this, you just have to think it was a bad engine or poor maintenance ,or just an internal problem with the engine that made it go out, good luck, hope this help,s.

you're able to easily be paranoid and if suspect somebody is somewhat tempering with your vehicle the police can set up a surveillance digital camera in view which you're a witness. If the alarm is set to tender it would bypass off with any noise around it even the wind. different than the reality that your alarm isn't working precise because of the fact it is going off continuously, i won't be able to think of there may well be the rest which could be performed to the vehicle that may not seen. nicely there is however the vehicle might desire to be grounded(unlikely to assert because of the fact there are allot of fool available), meaning bodily on the floor, yet then your battery might look like it had exploded and might additionally be seen.

there is no warning light for brakes. your battery light comes on when the alternator is not charging the battery, and if it is cold, a battery can die without warning. as far as the engine goes, that happens sometimes if not taking care of properly.

doubtfull on the brakes and battery, those are a normal wear iteam that get replaced alot. as far as engine there's no telling without knowing the history of the vehicle. how many miles, what type of car and engine. how it was driven and all. doubtfull that it was vandelized though.

An engine replaced in a Lexus at 70,000?

Those should run 250,000 miles if you just change the oil. If you run it low on oil its dead.

Seems normal except for needing a new engine. Driven as you described , unless abused, the engine should last at least 200,000 miles.

if there were no lights to warn you, how did you know to take the car in? did the car stop working? Its hard to tell if you were ripped off unless you give some more details about what happened. for example, how old is the car? what make and model? how many miles on the car? Please give some more details.
