Now the guy I sold it to says that the transmission went out. I had no idea that that would happen and the guy says I did. He threatened that if I didn't pay to get it fixed he would beat my ***. I am not a licensed dealer...just sold one of my own cars. Plus, the guy lives right across the street from me...so it is pretty stupid for him to suggest that I knew. Do I have any legal obligations to fix it? What should I do?

It idles fine, runs great for a while then suddenly loses all forward momentum. I can put it at full throttle and it just kind of lugs down. I'm not a motor guru by any stretch. I took apart the lower unit and couldn't see anything wrong with it. I replaced the fuel filter and put in new plugs. Any suggestions?

I have a 94 Nissan Maxima. I don't understand what the problem could be evertime it rains and I go out to start my car it never starts. When I turn the ignition it acts like it's going to start then it just stops, the engine won't kick over but when it's nice, dry and sunny outside it's fine. I recently had a tune up, oil change and air filter replace and it was fine the last time it rained but not it's right back to it's old tricks. I know it's not the battery because everything else works fine, lights, radio, horn. What else could this be?

This only applies to cars that can be unlocked by remote button. Should you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home.

If some one has access to the spare remote have them telephone you on your cell phone.

Hold your (or anyone's) cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person press the unlock button, hold it near the phone.

Your car will unlock. I tried it and it works. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object.

i have an L Reg Rover 214 with the stereo that I think came with the car when it was new. one of the speakers in the back is very rattley and tinny, even when the radio is on low volume. would it be easy to fix and if so how do i do it?
