99 up gm truck trans with gen 3 engines use a slightly longer bell-hsg and t- converter which means its a longer trans than the trans-am. Not a compatible swap,plus the shift calibration is different.

yes a tahoe transmission will fit in a LS1 car but the shift points are different. it may not shift like it needs to. but u can take it to a performance shop and have it programed to the points u like. and tahoes do not come in a 6 cylinder at all

it may but the tahoe is a 6 cylinder and the TA s power will eat it up
