I get 25.5 @ 75 mph highway and only about 14 around the city. When I was breaking mine in I got just over 19 in the city.

It's actually a 4.6 V8, and anywhere between 12-25 mpg depending how you drive it.

I personally own a Pontiac Transam 1999 5.7 V-8 which the engine is a little bigger than yours. Meaning I get 22mpg on the highway and 14mpg on the city. It all depends how fast you go... Yours should do a lot better than mine. Hope this helps....

theres no such 4.7 motor its a 4.6 17city/23 highway per window sticker.

It really depends on your driving habbits. But in all reality you should get at least 23mpg

Theoretically as much as 75 mpg, but it will require a lot of coasting down hills and pushing by hand.
