Yesterday I was driving with a friend on a rural road when we both heard a loud pop and discovered the rear windshield was blown out. At first it sounded as though we blew a tire but the car was completely under control and when I looked behind me I saw there was a hole in the windshield about the size of a small acorn.

We were the only car on the road so I know we weren't rear ended. The road was completely paved so chances are it was not a rock.
Lastly, the car was a minivan and shards of glass imploded all the way to the front seats atleast 10 feet from the windowframe.

What could have caused this?

Is it possible someone took a pot shot at me with a gun?

I just repainted my '85 trans am with factory red paint and I got it looking nice but I don't know the prices on getting the engine and exhaust and all that going to optimum capacity. The car only has 60,000 miles on it and it already has a complete flowmaster system. What can I do to the engine to make it have more horsepower and torque? And does anyone have prices on these things? I want to bore out the pistons but I don't know where to get that done. And it does run on a carburator so make sure the tips are for a carburated car please. thanks.

Oil not changed for a long time. New heads. Top end cleaned when heads were off, but guck still in oil flow chambers, preventing oil from getting to rocker arms. Someone said use diesel fuel, but i need to run the the truck to loosen particles.

I turn the key and there is nothing pushing against the switch so it just turns easy all the way on and the fuel ijection u hear turn on and lights work and I have power but something feels like in colomn is not turning with the ignition switch to turn the engine over I have to use a screwdriver across the celenoid I don't know what is not turning or pushing back against the ignition switch like before is is inside the coloumn and how do I fix it
