I have a 77 Caprice 305 motor a couple of week ago i was coming home from work the car hit 40mph and just started losing power i eased off the accelerator for a few seconds then hit it again. It catches power then starts bucking) (Again it starts dying down. I changed fuel pump, carb rebuild, changed spark plugs, changed fuel filter in carb (dropped fuel tank & cleaned out)I replaced rubber fuel lines that connect to steel lines still does same thing always around 40mph im lost please help???????????????

A few days ago I was driving my 96 Jetta (only a few miles), and out of nowhere my coolant light started flashing (temperature was in normal range). I stopped the car for about 30 minutes , and went back home, this time the light wasn't flashing. When I got home, I heard a weird noise under the hood of my car, so I checked out and the tube connecting the coolant tank to the engine was leaking fluid where it was connected to the engine. Any ideas what caused this? Is it safe to drive? Thanks.

I didn't exchange insurance information and got towed. The accident was not my fault, and I didn't get a police report (yes, I'm stupid, I know.)

Is there anyway to get the insurance to pay for my vehicle repair legally?

I only have Hit & Run and Liability. I live in the state of Texas.

Oh, and for you stereotypers out there... yes, the driver was Hispanic and didn't have insurance.

Me and a bunch of friends are planning to roadtrip through california this december/january. We're looking at renting an RV and just going wherever we feel like going. However, finding RV camping grounds is a real pain, plus the fact that they are usually far away from the touristic attractions we want to see in the big cities. Therefore i was wondering if it is possible to just find a quiet road or street somewhere, where the presence of a 25' parked truck is no problem for anyone living in that area, and just staying there. Any experienced RV enthousiasts who can help me out with this? Thanks!

I own a 2000 Dodge Neon, 100,000 miles.
The rear main seal is leaking, but I am more worried about the knocking sound I hear when engine is cold. After it warms up, it quiets down. Would it be the main engine bearing? Something else perhaps? Will it cost a fortune to get repaired?
Ideas?

im looking for good affortable speakers for a 99 eclipse gsx. what i really want to do is replace the right speaker on my right door because it seems to be blown or something because when u can hear the bass, theres a loud vibrating noise from that speaker. also if i get new speakers n subs, would i have to modify the places to fit the speakers n subs in? is a new stereo system important? or could i just stay with the stock one
