I will not be driving my car and it is parked in an outside covered area but again, the annual climate is hot and humid. What can I do to my leather seats and dash to prevent mildewing/molding. Would a leather spray cleaner/protector keep this from reoccurring? Someone suggested placing a small open bag of charcol in the automobile. I would be interested in your thoughts. Thank you.

I just bought an old Jaguar xj6. I love it, but it just weighs so much (2 tons) that gettting to 60 MPH takes forever. Is there anything i can do for about 500 dollars to give it a noticable difference in acceleration? noise isnt a problem

Why do alot of retired people drive Cadillacs?

Going to the service dept once a week gives them something to do.

P.S. I am on my second one and tho I am only 27 I think this sounds like a good plan for my boring retirement years... Note that they didn't even have a catagory for Cadillacs, what's up with that? Yet they have Mahindra & Mahindra??? and Peugeot, wtf?

There was a real regain of acceleration after i change the fuel filter 2 month ago(found that info on google) but now, it's like the car is losing acceleration most on hill even slight...she's like hesitating on shifting to a upper gear and the gas pedal(throttle) has gotten really soft when pushin down.Thing that was competely different after i change the fuel filter...i was thinking about getting the car tuned-up but she doesn't have reached the 100k(still at 82k) or maybe take it to a shop for computer diagnostic but that will cost me money. But the last time i was at a ford dealer for that recall, they said everything was fine but the problem is still there. Now with the cold coming up, when starting the car in the early morning, the noise from the engine is like loud and rumbling..but this disappear when the car warms up after 6 to 7 mn driving. I really don't know where to turn about that lost of power and acceleration and i'm being affraid to pay for a service the car won't need

The hubby and I had an argument. He says if a train hits a car it does NOT have to stop. I say it's common sense, the train MUST stop if involved in any accident. Who's right, and where can I direct him to prove it?

My Buick is having this problem for 6 weeks now. Service can't seem to find what's causing it. In the morning and in the evening after starting the car and driving a few feet (out the driveway) it will start shaking and loose power and possibly stall out. After restarting it runs just fine. Service replaced plugs, wires and did general tune-up. Still did the same thing. Service checked/replaced onboard computer, checked crank sensor, mass air flow throttle all to no avail. Checked Buick for any re-call activity for this problem - no luck. Any suggestions?

You can drive down a street and see one station at $2.86 and right across the street $2.35. How can the more expensive brand do this? Why would they? Why is LUKOIL always so much more expensive than DELTA, Gulf, ect..?

BRAKE FLUID in the POWER STEERING UNIT! HELP? It was at least 4 oz of brake fluid. It's already making that humming noise after I cleaned out all that I could and put fresh power steering fluid in. I know I need to fix it. (lol) But who out there knows the immediate damage to the steering colum, and dangers of driving the car?? Or long term deteriation if I can't service it due to financial issues right now? Thanks.
