I will not be driving my car and it is parked in an outside covered area but again, the annual climate is hot and humid. What can I do to my leather seats and dash to prevent mildewing/molding. Would a leather spray cleaner/protector keep this from reoccurring? Someone suggested placing a small open bag of charcol in the automobile. I would be interested in your thoughts. Thank you.

Make sure you clean it well enough to get rid of all the mildew or it will come back. It would be a good idea to wipe it down every few days or so. I would also suggest parking in a garage if possible. If you can't leave a window cracked or air out the car once a day so that warm moist air doesn't build up inside of it.
