Yes, it is possible to put a big sound system into any vehicle...big or small. It's just requires installing it properly. The question is what do you want out of your sound system? If you just want screaming loud bass, It'll probably take up your entire trunk, but yes its possible. One large sub will be extremely loud in a call as small as that. If you'd just like a good sounding system, then I would recommend an amp, a high quality component set and a sub. It doesn't need to be a huge sub like the W7 or anything like that. A 10" or 12" in a sealed box would be more than enough bass for most people in a car that size.

You could put a big sound system in almost any car out there.
A mini cooper would hit pretty hard since its a small tight car. and the trunk shares the airspace with the car.
Just make sure you listen to different brands before you buy anything. JL audio and kicker arent as good as everyone says it is. so just listen around first.

You sure can the car is small and tight, just pick the right components and you would want to go with a custom designed enclosure. I would look at Kicker's Solo Baric subwoofers I think either the 10" L7's would work very well.

Good luck with your quest.

Its going to take plenty longer than an afternoon to get a 455 in a cooper. you will might desire to manufacture new mounts, build the drivetrain to paintings, custom exhaust and headers, in all probability circulate the firewall back some inches, custom radiator mounts, hood modification to slot the taller intake, new springs up front to make amends for weight replace, eliminate all electric powered aspects to replace with aftermarket stuff, and so on....it may be cool yet you merely do no longer know how plenty paintings it is going to take.

I dunno, should be but either way, your gonna get CRAZY sound in that thing, its so small and its a hatchback, I would just go with 2 audiobahn aw1206ts instead of a w7, for the price of a w7 alone you can get those and a hifonics brutus amp to push them for 50 to 100 dollars less than the w7, go with the w7 and you stil have to buy a amp and its not gonna knock as hard as those will, plus they look better
