Does Car Consumes More Fuel When Moving on High Speed or It does'nt

Highway driving uses less fuel than local/city driving.

Driving in area with stop signs and stoplights, where you have to stop and accelerate uses more fuel than being on the freeway with limited stops.

The highest gear at the lowest RPM might be where you get the best fuel economy.
Not to low of an RPM that the engine lugs though.
