Make sure you've bled all of the air out of the hyraulic system. and make sure you've adjusted the excess slack out of the pushrod.

OK.........the best way to take care of a slave cylinder is to not have to deal with it in the first place......lol.......seriously now.......with the clutch pedal all the way up.......remove the slave cylinder........make sure the master has plenty of fluid in it......make sure to place a coffee can or something under the tube to catch the fluid that will leak out........make sure the slave cylinder is full and extended before you try and reinstall.......make sure the master reservoir is also full........connect the tube back to the slave cylinder......then install the slave cylinder back onto the transmission..........when you compress the slave cylinder back to install it the minute amount of air will be pushed back through to the master cylinder.......now you should have pressure on your clutch pedal........I HOPE THIS HELPS.........I wish someone could have told me this six months ago when i did mine.

you need to bleed it like a brake line. theres a fitting on it to crack open and closed. open it let it gravity bleed then have someone push the peddle in and out just like a break line til you get pressure. be careful too cause if you break it you got to get another one some of them are plastic so dont go balls out tightening it up be careful
