I've wanted a mustang for as long as I can remember, but everytime I tell someone I want one they tell my it's a bad idea. They tell me mustangs just aren't good cars especially in the long run. Is this true?? is it a ford thing or just a mustang thing??

when traveling above 15mph, i can't feel any vibration or that flat tire feeling. I did not see anything wrong with the tire. i thought it may be a broken steel belt inside the tire. Any suggestions? Thanks Yahoo buddies!!

The battery went dead and now the hood release will not work, thus I can't recharge the battery and restart the car. There is a technical bullentin out on this and says that if you hook up a car battery's positive terminal to fuse C3 and the negative to the door stop, then you will be able to operate the hood release. there are a lot of fuses at the firewall, I don't know which one is the correct fuse.

Then i noticrd water in the oil. took it home and drained it. What can I do to make sure there is no trash left behind?

As a bloke who's never been able to drive. I've always been a cyclist, pedestrian or public transport user. I'd actually like to point out that women drivers are better than men as it's very rare that I've seen road rage in women and they're definitely more likely to stop and let you cross the road in heavy traffic with no crossing nearby. The only thing they do really is make the odd silly mistake although that's very rare. Also, as a gothy sort of punk, any other person of that ilk before the 1990s was a potential murder victim of car drivers who didn't like your dress sense/attitude and I've lost count of the idiots who've aimed their cars at me at speed. They were all men. Also, it seems that the rate of their speed compensates in ratio for the diminutive size of their penises. I'd like to hear from any other man who agrees with me, or, conversely any woman who feels that men are better drivers?

When it's cold or damp outside there is a high pitch squeal from the engine compartment at idle and while driving. In fact gets louder with more acceleration. This continues until you are over a certain speed (always different) and if you drop back below that speed it starts again and lasts until the engine has warmed a little. What would cause this?

I drove my car to work and the heater does not come on untill I reach there, which is about 20 minutes away. I asked a mechanic about the problem and he said that the heater works fine. Is there anything I can do to get the heater working faster, besides letting the car warm up for 20 minutes?

We have a $49.99 special in our neighborhood - 4 tires - and good for the life of your owning the car... and they replace your tire caps with little green caps for mechanics to see that it now contains nitrogen instead of oxygen.

How much does the market normally get for filling a car tire with nitrogen?

I've heard the most often that 2009 was the date but I am not sure. Please help. I have 1994 camaro and if the new style comes out soon i'm not going to put as much money into the car right now.

You know those people who were "born to drive?" Well, I'm not one of them. Ever since I first started practicing when I was 16, I knew something was wrong. I get extremely confused over the simplest and most important things (i.e. right turns on red, left on green, etc.). Sure, it may be considered common sense, but I just don't GET it and now I never drive unless forced to. I get shaky and terrified and I don't trust myself. It has been holding me back a lot, as you can probably guess. I'm 18 and I did get my license, but I don't know how I did it! What can I do to fix this situation, in addition to practicing? Please don't be mean-I'm serious about this.

I recently noticed my steering wheel starting to shake when I brake. I had a friend change the pads, and he said the rotors are ok, but probably need to be turned within a few months. After he changed the pads, the shaking didn't stop, and has progressively gotten worse. I noticed this morning that there is a "hollow creeking" noise when I turn the car, and when I get going pretty fast (50MPH or so), there is a rattling noise.

Any ideas?
