id take it to an exhaust shop where they do muffler and tail pipes,and have them quieten it down some ,there pretty reasonable on prices too that's the easiest way,,doing that type work your self is almost impossible with out the proper equipment to do it with,and there fast at it,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

Try replacing the exhaust system. You won't pass inspection if you don't and won't be able to keep license plate. Also that noise is from exhaust with carbon monoxide coming through holes in pipes and you are breathing it when you drive.

Check the manifold for leaks; exhaust system; muffler!
Check the oil - if it is black, it may be well overdue for a service.
If the head gasket is blown, you might find in the oil when you check it.

well if you have a hole in it it needs a new exust or get a bandage for tempory measures
