Cars & Transportation - 21 September 2006

I have cleaned the throttle bottle, changed fuel filter, check alternator and charged battery up. Every now and then can get it running for longer than 3 sec and it does good but when I shut it off the problem starts all over again. I have put it on a computer and it doesn't pop any codes. Please help. Have asked many mechanics and no one has an idea.

I had just posted a question about this, but it was getting too lengthy, so I decided to open up a new one. I had my claims rep come to my house ans take pictures and everything, am I still able to cancel the claim for my car accident inorder to have the person at fault's insurance to cover it?

Anybody got any ideas to stop Honda Shadow battery terminals from working loose from the battery. It causes real bad starting and charging problems, which is a pain as I have to get the spanners out to remove the seat. I have also tried threadlocker glue but I always seem to be playing with the terminals. Any ideas?

My friend is selling me a 92 prelude for 2,000. Everything is great, It is white on black leather, It's VERY clean inside and out, tires are good and everything is in great condition. the only thing that im concern about it that it has 200k miles on it. Okay well today when I got off the bus and went home I got a call telling me the bus I just got off of crashed into a car and went into a ditch..Im so lucky that I wasnt on it..I dont know if anyone was hurt or anything but I dont know if I should get on the bus anymore..It could happen again couldnt it?

and my friend says im nuts for wanting that. i like the fact i can find a newer bike with under 5000 miles and it has heavy duty parts on it.. ie brakes, trans/ clutches i know the tires are crappy but i plan on buring them off any way. Am i nuts???

When I shift gears on my honda f3, there is a fairly loud clunk as it shifts into place. What is this noise? Does something need to be repaced or adjusted?

car dealership service dept supposedly did pressure test on coolant system said it passed. later oil tested by valvaline found 2% coolant in oil. oil ultimately turned to tar engine was destroyed. serv dept was told about cont loss of coolant. need good mechanic input
