I need to know where the mass air flow sensor is located on a 1990 ford licoln towncar.

Large black tube running from the center of the engine top, follow it to the air filter. When you locate a devise that has five wires connected to it, STOP!! You found it.

my question is, when did FORD start making Town Cars. Last I checked it was a Ford Crown Vic and the Mercury Grand Marquee and the Lincoln Town Car
