it mean's NEW PISTON AND RINGS, GASKET KIT, VALVES AND GUIDES DONE AND THE CYLINDER HONED OR BORED. Everything from the engine case up is worked over or replaced.

Not a good idea. They'll rebuild the heads and valves. Now you've got full compression pounding against worn rod and main bearings. It won't take long before you have to replace bearings. If the 4wd is your pride and joy, have the engine rebuilt. If not, trade it in.

It usually means having everything from the heads up rebuilt and/or overhauled.
