If your car is only a 06, call the dealer and make an appointment to bring it in. it may be nothing, but it could be something that was not done right at the factory. You probably only smell it when the car if off because you are not outside of the car when the key is on, at least not often. I would say open the hood and then start the car and look and smell under the hood to see if it is coming from there.
It may be that the break shoes are locking up which creates a burning rubber smell.
When you do go to the dealer, make sure that you can at least give them an idea as to what preceeds the smell. and if you know that it is coming from the front, rear, under the hood, etc that will help as well.

What do you weigh? Just kidding, Maybe one of the tires is rubbing from a broken shock or spring and the smell doesn't catch up with you until you stop. Check the tires on both sides for rubbing marks. It could also be a slipping fan belt.

It's a possibility that it could be your belts. Check them to make sure they are in good condition. Also check your rubber hoses. It is a possibility that something is rubbing up against them.

It could be a bad belt. It could also be a hose that has moved too close to something hot.

Oil leak burning, belts worn out, or could it be electrical?
