I agree totally, especially the bit about the size of male organ being related to the speed achieved.
When someone presses and urges to get into the 'fast' lane I always say to my wife, I bet his dick just got an inch bigger!
What's this obsession with speed? It causes the majority of accidents on the road, and people NEVER (women are just as bad) drive at a speed appropriate to the conditions.
That's the key word - appropriate.
Doesn't matter if the speed limit's 30 - if 15 is more appropriate because of parked cars or poor vision, then please, please drive at 15.

Disagree. There is no real difference between women and men drivers overall, men are better at manuvering and judging gaps, women are better at taking evasive action. the rest is just daft jokes (that some people take too far)
In my experience road-rage is caused more by the car you drive than the person you are. I have 4 cars (because I'm stupid!!) an Escort that seems to make you annoyed, and I have to admit its inadequacies sometimes get blamed on everybody within a 100mile radius except myself. But when I drive my Jag Xjr nothing bothers me, even a mushroom cloud would have a silver lining. If a car has bad brakes, a rough ride etc and really lets you know when it changes speed, it will make you more agressive, but if it relaxes with you, then nothing matters outside your world in that car!!
But I have seen as many women as men show road rage, and the funny thing is that in Plymouth where I live, the most polite drivers tend to be cabbies and bus drivers!! How strange is that!??!
I have to be completly honest in that I do find it a little insulting that a person who has never been a driver, therefore has no experience of any situation should try to make any judgement on others who whatever they're state of anything, are clearly more capable than you at driving. That isn't meant to be personal, but I'm a strong believer in try before you decide.

This is a no-brainer. All the statistics show that men have more accidents than women (per miles driven) and also worse accidents. (By which I mean more injuries and higher damage costs.)
If anyone wants to argue this just check any government statistics office website for road accident statistics under the categories of age and gender.
That's why there are now insurance companies that only insure women. They can offer them lower preiums than their male counterparts for the same age/driving experience/vehicle, and still make a good profit. Fewer claims per 1000 insured, and lower claim costs ditto.
The reasons are largely socio-psychological. And yes, when I used to ride motorbikes I was targeted several times by drivers who tried to knock me off the road just because they didn't like 'long-haired bikers'. (What the length of my hair has to do with my right to be on the road I am not sure, but that is what I've heard. And yes, they were always men.)
Different way of thinking, is what it comes down to. The problem is that the super-aggressive men make up only a very small percentage of the driving population, but they have a disproportionate number of 'accidents' (quote marks because they are often deliberate hits). In other words, they are ruining things (and increasing insurance costs) for the vast majority of men who don't use their cars as weapons.
Thanks for your comments.

I agree. Women are less agressive, more polite and less desperate to prove themselves on the road. However, there are some who tend to concentrate on things other than the road (children in the back seat, their lunch on the passenger seat etc). and this is dangerous and annoying. However, I also see a number of men using mobiles while driving, eyeing up women instead of watching the road etc.
My main gripe about all drivers is that a number do not observe speed limits. Either they drive at a constant speed of 40 in both 30 limits and 60 limits, or they speed everywhere and intimidate other drivers. These people are of either sex and make concerned, legal drivers feel stupid for trying to drive safely!

As a road user and cyclist for over 25 years I totally agree.
Also the agressiveness factor of male drivers is getting out of control.
Only yesterday I pulled out of a junction turning right, the car coming from the left started to accelarate and 100 yards after the junction he caught up with me, overtook at around 50-60mph and then cut in slowed down and slammed on his brakes.
I flashed my lights at him - he then braked hard again, stopped and got out shouting abuse.
Unfortunately for him two gendarmes of the traffic variety were having a covert speed check and had seen the whole thing!
The only problem I see with women drivers is the manouvering and parking thing, but that's because we tell them that 12 inches is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx that size!

Thank you - very refreshing for someone to actually admit women are the better drivers.
Though I'll be the first to admit that I'm a better driver than blokes when going forward, I'm not the person you want to be reverse parking your car!!
But on the up side, women who cant park for s**t know their faults and simply dont do it. Called common sense. So our accidents are less, insurance is less and road rage - whats the point?!

well i look like the odd one out, but yea women are safer drivers most of the time, take out the ones that pay more attention to there cell phones than the road, and there a few men that are safe, take out the arrogant business men who are two seconds late for work that they feel they control the road so they speed and never let pedestrians thru while sipping on there starbucks!

Good call! I've been a target of these f*ggots before as I wear a bikers' jacket. First time I had I suit on I thought it was all a dream... road users must have just seen the suit and thought "lawyers!" Yes, it's sad but true. Men tend to drive with their penises. ALL the aggressive drivers are SHITEBAGS who would never take you on one-on-one. COME AHEAD YOU SCUM!

Sorry to dissapoint. Perhaps our paths have crossed before? Were you the chap my wife stoped for? I was the one thrown from the passenger seat and strained across the inside of the screen, the one with the surprised look on my face (seat belt pre tensioners DO work). Not as surprised though as the two police cars who had to take avoiding action (blokes driving too close!), or the other half dozen motorists left at strange angles across the road. I'm sure she will be glad to know that she is appreciated!
