Inside my air cleaning housing, after removing the air filter, there was found to be an accumulation of oil, which looks to have sprayed from somewhere inside the housing. Does anyone have any idea what may have caused this, or how I can begin to detect the source? Thank you SO MUCH!!!

I understand that autos have limits as to how loud they can be. I would assume that motorcycles have the same standards. But many motorcycles are alarmingly loud.

i was told it is probably the 02 sensor,o i changed it and it still comes on. i took the battery off for a few minutes and it still comes on. will it take the cpu a couple of drives b4 it stays off or ???? i changed a sensor on the top of the engine a few years back but not the canistor it is attached to because it is ceased together it to is part of the exhaust. it is a 2.3 4 cylinder any suggestion will be appreciated. thank you James

The ABS, Traction Control and Airbag lights are all on. The battery light is NOT on and the only OBDII codes I pulled said bank 1 & 2 are too lean.

The last time all the lights came on + battery, it was the alternator- shop put"new" one in last month. I checked the voltage it and it seems to be charging fine...16 volts. If I bring it to 5000 rpm and back off the gas it will stall but it will hold an idle. I just drove 40 miles and it started right up again.

car ran real short of gas, lost power, started running really choppy and backfiring, so I replaced the fuel filter thinking it sucked up some gunk. The fuel pump is about 2 months old, and seems to be running fine. Yes I added gas so its not low anymore. After the extra fuel, and the fuel filter its still backfiring, and running so choppy it will hardly move. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be past the filter? If I let off the fuel pedal the car dies. Thanks in advance if anyone has anymore ideas.

I have a black car that had been in a wreck and I got a door from the junk yard that matches up pretty good but has become quite a faded almost a gray looking black . So my question is what would be a good wax, polish or cleaner to bring out the luster in this door.

Didn't realize that I left my key in the "acc' position for a while yesterday. Got back in the car, and, of course, the battery was dead. When I then tried to get my key out, it wouldn't turn past "acc". While we're at it, I can't shift my car out of "Park" which, for the time being, I'm assuming is caused by the dead battery. theory is that the switch that tells my transmission I'm depressing the brake is electrical.

My father was a NASCAR DRIVER (JIM HARNESS). He had sent me to multiple driving schools and I had been going to these classes for about 6 years! I did not recieve a DUI, nor do I drive badly,my problem was interstate racing. I own a 2004 mustang cobra convert.(600 hp) that is highly moddified. I payed for my car by the way. I acknowledge and understand why they had revoked it for soo long but I have a family and my grandfather that I take care of as well as work. I really understand the premise of a "HARDSHIP" License and I even bought an old Ford pinto lmao,to punish myself and keep me from further adrenalin pumped supercar races,so trust me I was part of the Elite Mustangs car club and I understand how costly the whole illigal racing scene can be......So again please do not criticise! I just need to know how hard is it to obtain a hardship license in the state of Florida,What the process is,Limitations,etc

Had my 1003 Pontiac Grand Am serviced and the moved out of area. Tech didn't reset the service engine soon light. Happened once before and salesman pushed some button near the steering wheel and wouldn't show me how. I'm not living near a dealer and want to do it myself. Anyone know how, it's of course not in the manual.
