im planning to trade my car for mini cooper convertable S. how do i go by if this car is really worth buying even though its a bit too much for the price.

A girl was parking on my lot and paying for parking and someone shot a bee bee which left a small hole in her car. She says that she wants to be reimbursed her $600 for parking. I am curious how expensive this sort of thing really is to fix, it seems that it should not be nearly that much. The car is a 2005 hyundai SUV.

I am an OAP and have a small car which helps to transport my shopping.Icannot however afford to spend £50 in the shop since Ilive alone.The folk who are better off are getting help while I have to pay full price- is this fair?

I'm a very busy guy and i need to get an oil change, the problem is that i have to drive 1 1/2 hours to get to my dealership to get the oil changed in order to have my warranty extended. If i just put some fresh oil on top of what i had, shouldnt that extend oil life a few days? i just think it makes sense that it would.

My sons L reg 1994 fiesta 5 door, drivers door bottom hinge was bashed in when my son tried to adjust the welded on hinges. I used the old hinge pin and used a crowbar and managed to pull it back so far but not enough. Any ideas guys?

I am trying to tune up a 1990 Cadillac, replaced the distributor cap and rotor, repl'd spark plug wires and plugs....repl'd air and fuel filters. But, the car still stalls out sitting at idle and the engine shuts down when I place it in gear.

Is there a Mechanic that can give me some other areas to check? I haven't checked any computer codes.

new air filter, injectors clean and working, spark plugs not too old,fuel pump seems to be pumping just fine. also if i start it and let it run it tries to stall on its own, but just bearly catches itself and runs again. but if i rev it up and let go it stalls immediately.

it starts like a new car at 4:0 say, then at 5:00 it'll crank like a new car for 25 min.+if i walk away&come back say 10 -60 min. later it will start like nothing was ever wrong. it might not do it for 2/3 weeks at a time then it'll do it for a day\ week or whatever. go to the store & maybe be stuck 30 min. [or over an hour] . it's been going on for over 15 months. mechanics are baffled & say they cant find problem if car isn't doing it at the time they look at it. also im not sure how, or if this is related, but the speedometer doesn't work or is erratic but seems to work on days or hours after this occurs at least it seems that way. its almost like the car is on a random timer it wont start for an hour +.or even just 10 to 45 min come back out it'll start like new for days, or hours. we put in a strong new battery replaced terminals not that it seemed to need those things but it was recomended so we did & problem seemed to be fixed for bout 41/2 wks.[even the speedometer help

Would like to know if an electric fan would help the gas mileage on a vehicle as opposed to a clutch fan for radiator cooling and fuel efficiency. Is there enough difference?
