Yes, I care and I just wrote to my Representative about this very subject. It is everyone's problem, until they find another planet for people to live on, we had better start taking better care of this one.

Theories say that we have knowledge of alternative free fuels. I am just waiting and watching to see what and how they will bring it to market. We have the tech to fix the globe - it's a matter if the global power structure will allow it to happen.

The best illustration comes from Futurama - the anchovy episode. In Futurama, anchovy oil is a permanent lubricant for robots. This product would essentially cut Mom's biggest consistent cash cow. Her perogative is to get the last anchovies on Earth - and suppress. There's no consideration for anything aside from $$$ - no bringing the best to market and civilization.

So we'll see what is allowed to come to market. Will products that permanently solve the problem be released or just band-aid products? We'll see.

I reckon the earth will adjust to bring things back to equilibrium but we don't know what the changes will be.
It just may be that human beings will become extinct, we are causing the extinction of so many species each year and don't care as long as it is not us, well the planet may have the last laugh.

no becuase this world is going to change anyways, think about it, once it was full of water, then it was all ice, now it's land... the world changes. stop dreading on world problems and live life happily while you can. if something is going to happen, it's going to happen and really a bunch of people protesting about it isn't going to help anything. It's not like we can junk all the cars in the world, and stop producing plastics, and paper. This world is messed up, face reality and move on.

I think it's cyclical, natural weather patterns. I don't think there is really anything we can do about it. (to prevent it from happening) Humans have lived through it before, and we will live through it again (The US Revolution was fought during the last cycle...)

No one really cares. They say they do, yet do nothing about it.
