...it's hot and you'll be a babe magnet. It's a status car, with a status price. You have to weigh out your image as being equal or equitable for your pocket book. My opinion? Don't over extend yourself. Get a souped up convertible of any other flavor and enjoy those rides in the country!

I have a 2006 MiniS hard top. This is the best handling car I have ever owned. All service, including oil changes are covered for three years. This is included in purchase price. Remember it is a small car with short wheel base so it does ride a bit rough. If you can find a place or dealer to rent one for a week, I would do that before relying on a two mile test drive. Resale value is great if car is taken care of. As other poster stated, you will attract a ton of attention!

I have a friend that owns this car and she says the service is horrible. She bought the car thinking it will be reliable like a BMW because they are the ones that built the new Mini.....however, she says the dealer service is awful and it's been in for service many times and she wishes she never bought the car.
Of course, every car won't be like hers....just thought you should know it....do your research on it first.
