I'm looking to get my first motorcycle. I found a 2005 V Star 650 Custom but it would be a bit small for me(I'm 6'4''). Would it be hard/possible to change the engine to an 1100?

you put the clutch in and coast down all the hills you come across instead of keeping your foot on the accelerator?

I must hasten to add that I already know the answer to this question but my friend and I have had a heated discussion on the subject and I just want to show him that he is wrong.

Conversely, of course, your answers may be the opposite of mine and I will have to eat some serious Humble Pie!

My wife was hit by a van that ran a stop sign. The car is totaled and she is on crutches and my son has a broken callarbone. The Insurance co. is offering me $40.00 less than what I owe on the car. I have contacted an attorney but their contigency is 1/3. So if the payoff for my car is $10000.00 and my medical expenses are $5000.00 ( not actual just estimated for example). If the claim is settled for $15000.00 and I owe the attorney $5000.00 I fail to see where this is helping me. Looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation.

I just purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Nissan Pathfinder, just to find that there are not just a few things, but SEVERAL things wrong with the vehicle. Some things are minor, and some are obvious things that should have never passed the 142 point inspection to become "certified", and for that matter it should not have passed state inspection either. The dealer has not even addressed the issues yet, 3 weeks later, claiming they "are waiting for parts". They will fix the problems, but I feel I was not sold what they claimed to be selling me. Nissan themselves has been contacted at this point, but they have done little to nothing to help. At this point I just want my money back. I don't trust this dealership, as they have been sloppy with this vehicle, and Nissan is not impressing me either. Is it possible to demand a refund?

Hey guys thanks for your help on my other question

Will exterior house paint work on my 1990 volvo wagon? I am concerned it will not be able to handle the heat (I live in a sunny area) Additionally it will get pretty hot under the hood.

I was thinking of going with an exterior satin, or exterior semigloss finish on my car after applying a coat of tinted primer and after sanding it off lightly with 100 grade. (I was going to do 2 coats of paint with no primer, but the 2nd layer of glossy paint won't adhere too well to the first coat.) I plan on using a roller(for 90% of the car) and a brush (for fine areas)

My car is burgundy, and I plan on painting it yellow.

Can you advise me on how to better approach this plan?

Thanks guys (and girls too)

Well, I know the difference but what is better....

A car with FWD or 2WD...and especialy during the winter. I have been told that a FWD car is better in the winter. Helps not slide as much...(of course snow tires do better, but I knew that) And I knew that a FWD PULLS the car instead of a 2WD following the front tires, therefor you slide on snow and ice more.

And what about the gas milage, which one does better on gas???
So what's your opinion. or advise?
A car with 2WD (with snow tires)???
OR
A car with FWD (with snow tires)???

We're looking to buy this car, good buy, good miles, good tires, just good all around it's good. It's a 2000 Dodge Stratus WHITE

It seems that the possibilty of an aircraft that is soley controlled by a computer (computer system) is very possible. There are already Unmanned Aerial Vehicles flying in the military. Catagory III aircraft have auto-land, which enables the aircraft to land in zero visibility (obviously at Cat III certified runways). Autopilot flies preprogrammed flight paths and approaches. What problems to do you see in this? Would you fly in a piloted-computer controlled aircraft in the future? Something to think about: more than 70% of aircraft accidents occure due to pilot error and not mechanical failure.

Anyone got a good suggestion for removing a nut that is stripped? I'm trying to remove my battery from my '96 Nissan Centra and the nut on the possitive terminal is stripped and too hard to get to with pliers or a conventional nut splitter. I think I had a bad angle on the nut and it started to strip. I tried some vise grips, cleaning the terminal, wd40, different socket wrench heads, everything, but no luck. Please help!
