The SUV stand for Sport Utility Vehicle in automobiles. the vehicles like Land rover and Discovery are some of its example. usually they are large vehicle with built like a jeep those giving a feeling that you can take them any where off road.

Well, it's supposed to be [S]Port [U]tility [V]ehicle but in Reality, it's [S]tupid [U]seless [V]ehicle. Just Show Me One of those Shiny $35 K + Jacked-Up Gas Guzzling Station Wagons that actually goes Off-Road, and is actually Utilized as a Utility Vehicle for Sport ? Only on the Commercials on TV ! And they are all so Ugly ! If You had Told Me, back in the 60 's, when the Torino, Chevelle, Road Runner, GTO, etc. were all the Rage that 40 Years Later the Status Symbol would be something as Ugly as the Cadillac Escalade, not that much different in appearance from a 1966 Jeep Cherokee, I would never have believed it ! Same Ugly Boxy Jacked-Up Body Style ! The Key Difference was that the Jeep Cherokee actually went Off-Road, and was therefore not a Stupid Useless Vehicle, which is what SUV Stands for Today ! <*>L<*>O<*>L<*>!!
