This is a very good question.

Service tax is being levied even on money order commission, speed post charges, and many other utility services directly related with common man. How many city dwellers use money order? It is mostly used in the rural areas i suppose. This is giving direct burden on the already downtroden rural india.

The government should not just look at the numerical figures, they should also look at the human figures who make the numerical figures.

NO need, customer taking your service will have to pay service tax you are selling auto parts not services.CIF is cost, insurance , and freight and in d case you have to pay service tax on freight and insurance which are services you are taking from someonelse.

You will pay for it (the shipper), not the forwarding or cargo company.
