I have a cracked block. Im thinking about putting an Hemi from a 2005 P/U in it. Can this be done without major fabrications?

Here's a webpage from TheHemi.com that should answer most, if not all, of your questions concerning this swap. Good luck!

It can be done but definately not worth the work. The power wagon doesnt have an ECM which controls the ignition, fuel injection and many, many other sensors on the newer motor. Best advice: Put a big block in it. Mine had a 440 (not stock) and it was brutal off road and a tire burner on the road.

The motor mounts are very different. You're better off putting in a 5.9 V8 as that one has the same mounts as a muscle car era 340/360.

Well it could be. If, you plan on using the Electronics involved you will need to transfer the computer and all that stuff. I assume this could all be removed and use the engine with the regular Distributor and Timing approach.

yes you can do it but you have to get the complete wire harness with all of the sensors and the pcm, you get all of that and you shouldn't have any problem
